I was going to post songs relating to Mother's Day or lounging around on a Sunday, but I got home today at three o'clock in the morning, which is pretty normal on the weekends for me (to be leaving work at around three or four o'clock), and as I was driving home I decided to post something else. These are the songs that keep me awake until I get home on those Friday and Saturday nights when I'm too exhausted to think. ♥

3oh!3 - Don't Trust Me
This was the first song I ever heard by them, and months later you can still find me singing the chorus under my breath (which gets me more than a few weird looks). :D It's kinda got a lot of electronica-like beats, which I don't usually like, but it fits in really well with the overall song, which is super catchy, btw.

LCD Soundsystem - Daft Punk is Playing at My House
Honestly, to this day I have no idea why I like this song. But it's catchy and it's fun, and when I'm driving I blast this with my windows open, whether it's three o'clock in the morning or three o'clock in the afternoon.

Kimya Dawson - The Beer
Kimya Dawson is pretty much known as the other half of The Moldy Peaches, but she's got some awesome songs under her own belt, too. This is a perfect example, and though I don't count it in my top ten, I love it to pieces. The lyrics kind of scare me sometimes when I'm not feeling too happy, but there's a lot of symbolism in there. (Seriously, I could spend forever on what I was dressed like Tina Turner in beyond thunder dome really means.)

McFly feat. Busted - Lola
This one makes me laugh so hard! When I first heard it I thought it was a cute and sweet song about this guy who met a girl and fell in love. And it is, kind of. Except this girl is a man. xD Unless you really listen to the lyrics, you won't catch that, and, for me, that's kind of awesome. What I really love about this song, though, is how fresh it feels. When this comes on I just want to be holding a cool glass of Coke or Sprite, or something.

Boys Like Girls - The Great Escape
Used to be a Top 40, which is kind of unusual for me. I think the main reason I like this song is because of the music video, actually, even though it's a really good song to blast and sing along to. [:

And that's it! :D Enjoy~
